RUNNING JACKET VENTILATION
Ventilation zones for a custom running jacket should be positioned according to where heat and moisture are likely to build up during activity. Their location, size, and construction should support airflow without compromising the jacket’s required fit, coverage, or weather protection.
More ventilation is not always better. Large openings or highly breathable panels may reduce wind resistance, coverage, structural stability, or weather protection. Review these trade-offs against the intended climate and performance requirements.
Test the jacket during running and repeated upper-body movement to check airflow, comfort, seam behavior, garment stability, and whether the vents remain effective after washing. At Call The STYLE, ventilation placement can be developed with the jacket pattern and fabric system before bulk production.
