What is a pre-production sample and why should I approve it?
The Final Checkpoint Before Production Begins
A pre-production sample (PP Sample) is the final production-intent sample reviewed before bulk manufacturing begins. It confirms that the factory and brand agree on how the finished garment should look, fit, and be constructed. Bulk production should not start until this sample is approved in writing.

Document Every Approval
At Call The STYLE, bulk production only proceeds after the required product specifications and approval points have been confirmed. Any approved changes should also be recorded in the latest Tech Pack or sample comments. This creates a written trail of what was approved and when—protecting both sides if a discrepancy arises later.
Why PP Sample Approval Matters
Approving the PP Sample helps reduce misunderstandings, unnecessary rework, production delays, and differences between the approved sample and bulk order. It is the last opportunity to catch a fabric shade mismatch, a logo-position error, a sizing deviation, or a construction issue before it affects the entire production run.
PPS Approval at Call The STYLE
We only move to bulk production after you confirm the PP Sample, measurements, fabric, colors, labels, and packaging in writing. Every change is recorded in the Tech Pack revision history.
